What should I include for detail photos???

Updated: May 21

This cutie little blog post will definitely be a bit shorter this week as I am sharing with you specific detail pieces you can give your photographer on your wedding day for detail photos.

On our final phone call, I typically ask that you prepare a shoe box (or any box, really) of all of your details to share with me.

On your wedding day, I carve out a good chunk of time (usually 30 minutes) for detail photos on your wedding day timeline.

I sneak away and capture these STUNNING pieces and create a layout of these details to deliver once the gallery is edited and complete.

Now, let’s jump into some things you might want to include and I will provide you with some examples of photos I have taken over time for perspective.

For the Bride:

Invites/Save the Dates

Shoes

Florals (The bouquet and loose petals)

Rings

Necklaces

Earrings

Bracelets

Ribbon

Polaroid pictures

Handwritten letter

Vows

Fine China

Family Heirlooms

Perfume

Wedding Dress

Veil

For the Groom:

Shoes

Tie

Ring

Vows

Cologne

Boutonniere

Sunglasses

Watch

Family Heirloom

Belt

Here are some examples of detail photos I have taken:

Thank you so much for stopping by. I am so thankful you are here.

With Love,

Cassidy from Vandy Studios
