Hi Vandy Fam and Happy Thursday!
Weekly Update: Welcome back to the blog, or if you are new here, hi! I am so happy that you are here. I started this little segment 2 weeks ago, where I share 3 little nuggets of my week with you before diving into the blog post!
Last week, I shared about attempting those Pain Au Chocolat pastries (AKA Chocolate Croissants.) I must say, I failed terribly. But hey! I tried and probably will not be trying again.
A new goal I have set for myself this week is to complete the 2 wedding galleries that I have sitting in my queue. I will say, I am super proud of the way that I spaced out my weddings for 2024. I have a pretty booked up year, but not to the point where I feel overwhelmed and I love that. Maybe that is also because it is my full time job now and I have more time to allot to editing.
I had the opportunity to go back to summer camp! Well, kind of. I photographed a wedding this past Saturday at the Wisconsin Christian Youth Camp in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. It was super special to me as I had photographed there once before, and was excited to return. I always loved going to summer camp growing up (not here, but similar vibe), so when I have the opportunity to return and document literal weddings there, it is an honor.
Something fun that I did this week was photograph my brother’s best friend’s baby announcement with him and his wife!! I had the opportunity to photograph their engagement photos and wedding day as well. The wedding day was super special because my brother was the best man in the wedding. That felt so special!
Now, let’s get to the blog post:
Today, we will be talking about a new air bnb property in Stockholm, Wisconsin called Stockholm Haus! I have been interested in photographing more properties as of recently and had the opportunity to capture the new luxury Scandinavian retreat in Stockholm.
This vacation rental is worth the trip with its beautiful interior and exterior design, a pool and cabana, making it the perfect place to connect and gather with your loved ones.
Stockholm Haus sleepy 16+ guests with 8 beds and 6.5 baths. This property is brand new and sits just minutes from the beautiful Lake Pepin. This property is just an hour and a half away from the Twin Cities and sits in a quiet town, making for the perfect weekend getaway with family and friends or, if visiting the area for a wedding, the perfect getting ready space for a wedding weekend!
When you first walk into the house, you arrive in the dining room where you can seat all of your guests! I started off to the left of the dining room by documentin the guest house side of Stockholm Haus called "Guest Haus."
I loved the details of this property, as everything was so intentional and beautifully thought out. I love this welcome sign in the kitchenette area, too!
This is a view from the Guest Haus loft down on the kitchen, dining and living room space. As you can see, the furniture is stunning, and the accents on the kitchen cabinets and light fixtures compliment the space so well!
I loved this gold trim on this beautiful image just above the dining room table.
Again, the gold accents on the kitchen ware is SO PERFECT!
I love this shot of the living room and the natural light entering in.
This is the dining room table, I mentioned, and can be expanded to seat the 16+ guests.
Now, some details of the main living room! It was remarkable, to say the least.
The cutest details and neutral colors!!
This bedroom is another loft space, above the main living room and kitchen.
Every bathroom at this property was so beautiful and this bathroom mat...I WAS OBSESSED. That is simply why I am including it. I thought it was so cute and such a fun detail to the bathroom.
This is a view from the pool area. This is the back side of the home.
The underground pool with the most perfect floaties!!!
The property is surrounded by so much beauty and greenery!
I loved visiting Stockholm Haus and documenting the beautiful space that Miranda and her family created. She truly focused it on gathering and togetherness, but also, having a private space to return to at the end of the day. It was a true honor to capture.
You can see more information on this incredible property and book at https://www.stockholm-haus.com today!
That’s all from me, today! I hope you enjoy this blog post where I have the honor of sharing my favorite images that I had the opportunity to take at the beautiful Stockholm Haus!
Thank you for being here!!
Have a blessed week!
